Search, comparison and calculation tools run in your browser. No account is required. PubCAS does not include advertising trackers or a third-party analytics tag in this release.

Local comparison list

Your selected CAS numbers are stored in your browser so that you can compare records across pages. Use “Clear” in the comparison bar to remove the list, or clear this site’s browser storage.

Correction submissions

A correction form sends the CAS number, your message and any optional email address you provide to PubCAS. Entries are retained for up to 90 days for review. Do not include confidential product formulas, personal medical information or other sensitive material. A short-lived hashed network identifier is used to limit repeated submissions.

Infrastructure and external sites

The hosting provider processes requests to deliver and protect the website. Following an external reference or search link takes you to a separate service with its own privacy practices. Reference links open in a new tab.
